Hi there!  I’m Kathy, the owner of “It Parkles Papa LLC.”  I have been making jewelry for several years now.  I’ve sold my jewelry at Bazaars, Markets, Etsy, etc.  I decided I wanted to go one step further and open my own website and sell online.  I have many one of a kind pieces created, just waiting to be posted and share with you. 

The name of my business “It Parkles Papa” came from our Granddaughter.  She loves things that are pink & purple and if it sparkles, she loves it.  When she would see something that sparkled, she would say “look, Papa, it ‘parkles!”  Therein is where the name of my business came from.  It’s amazing where pieces of inspiration can come from when you least expect it.

I developed the passion for making my own jewelry many years ago when I couldn’t find just the right necklace to wear with an outfit I had.  I have always been a crafty person and have made many things over the years.  I stopped by my local craft store and went to work designing and purchasing what I needed to make the necklace, bracelet & earrings to make my outfit complete.  Once I completed that set, I found it tough to NOT make more.  Once I filled my own jewelry stand up it was still tough to stop so I continued making more and more. I was part of a group of ladies at church that got together once a month to make a new piece. We used many techniques and styles on our processes. Once I got to a certain point of inventory on hand, I decided to sell them at Christmas Bazaars and outdoor Markets.  Once I found out how well they sold I set up my own Etsy site and started selling them online.  I still do the occasional Market, but I am totally for the online method of reaching lots of people and sharing my talent with others.

Every piece I make is an individual and “one of a kind” piece.  I never make identical pieces. They may look similar, but each piece is unique.  Which means I’m constantly having to create new designs and new colors.  With no two alike, it makes the creative side of me work even harder to create new pieces.  I have focused on making necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and bookmarks.  I’m also working on making anklets and rings in the future. My ultimate passion are my Wire Wrapped Rings.  

I’m grateful for the opportunity I get to create, make and share my talent with that visits my website.  Everyone needs something pretty to wear.  Who doesn’t want to feel good about themselves?  Everyone needs a little sparkle in their lives and that’s what I’m here to do…create a little sparkle for you to wear.  I hope you enjoy shopping on my website.
